Honouring five decades of service to Wareham

David is the longest-serving Town Councillor, having first been elected on 17 June 1976. Throughout his distinguished career in public service, he has served as Town Mayor (1990–1991), as well as a District and County Councillor. In recognition of his outstanding commitment and valued contribution to the community, he was named an Honoured Townsman in 2013.

Marking 50 years of dedicated service to the people of Wareham, David was presented with a Certificate of Recognition by the Town Mayor, Councillor Keith Critchley. This award acknowledges his exceptional dedication, longstanding commitment, and significant contribution to the town over five decades.
